Dr. Hannah Calvert

Dr. Calvert earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Mississippi State University in 2024. After graduation, she completed a rotating internship at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Charlotte, NC, where she gained extensive experience in emergency medicine while learning alongside a team of board-certified specialists.

Raised on a farm in Hopkins, South Carolina, Dr. Calvert developed a love for animals at a very young age. She pursued veterinary medicine because she believes pets are family and can’t imagine a world without them.

At home, Dr. Calvert shares her life with her rescue terrier, Dory, and her cat, Tater. She also has an independent outdoor cat named Q-tip, who stops by whenever she feels like it. Dr. Calvert has a special place in her heart for rescue animals—the scruffier, the better.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Calvert enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, country concerts, trying new restaurants or relaxing by her pool.
